Masonry Support

Brick, block or stone cladding on steel or concrete framed structures is normally supported by stainless steel masonry support systems.

Damp proof courses are designed to prevent the passage of moisture in brick and block work from external sources.

Weepholes

Openings placed in mortar joints of facing materials at the level of flashing, to permit the escape of moisture, or openings in retaining walls to permit water to escape. Range of colours include; Grey, Black, Beige, Brown, White, Terracotta and Translucent.

Polyjoint is a closed cell polyethylene expansion joint filler for concrete slabs and brickwork joints.

Bituflex aka Flexcell or Brown Fibre Board is a general-purpose expansion joint filler used in concrete slab and brick wall construction.

Spacers & Tying Wire, Spacer Blocks are the core product range used at the very early stages of projects by groundworkers. These products aka (Mars Bars, Doggie Biscuits)

REINFORCING SLAB ACCESSORIES Products

SIG Construction Accessories supply conibar, mbt couplers reinforcing thread positional couplers and Balcony connectors.

Reinforcement Continuity systems are used in construction joints in concrete. Formwork design is simplified and there is no requirement for drill shuttering. Couplers provide a cost-effective method of joining reinforcing bar, particularly when the fixed bar is already in place.

Waterproofing is an integral part in protecting structures water ingress.

GCP waterproofing products come in many forms of sheet membranes which are used to protect structures from water ingress. The range consists of Pre- applied, post- applied, cavity forming membranes and all the ancillaries to go with these systems including protection boards, sealing tapes, detailing accessories and primers when required.

Primers & Accessories

Special formulated one part primers are used for sealing concrete and masonry surfaces to promote the adhesion of the Bituthene Membranes. Ancilliary products for use with waterproofing membranes are Bituthene protection boards, tapes vertical and horizontal drainage sheets.

Post applied membranes consist of Bituthene Membranes, Bituthene GP, 4000 and 8000 are suitable for applications to damp proof surfaces and green concrete.

Waterproofing Membranes

Pre-applied external waterproof membranes are used in basements and substructures. Preprufe 300r and 160r are used below slabs and on reinforced concrete basement walls.

Liquid Membrane

Bituthene Liquid Membrane is a two component elastomeric cold applied liquid detailing compound. Used with GCP waterproofing membranes where it is necessary to ensure watertight continuity such as pile terminations, pipe penetrations, internal corners and continuity through masonry walls.

Waterstops & Waterplugs

Adcor self adhesive hydrophilic strip, PVC Internal and External profiles/ External expansion, construction, centrebulb along with a range of jointing pieces to suit and ancillary products to joint and weld the waterstop.

The density, positioning, length and embedment of the wall ties are key in the selection of the correct wall tie for all applications.

Wall tie selection is based on the following criteria – Application, density, centres, maximum height of the building and the geographical location.

Depending on the application, the range of wall ties can be L-ties, safety ties, debonding ties, Frame cramps and low thermal conductivity wall ties. Debonding sleeves and insulation retaining discs are supplied to suit these wall ties.

Fixings for wall ties and masonry supplied depending on what sub structure they are being fixed back to are available. Fixing back to concrete and steel.

From large scale renovations and structures to restoring kerbs and joint arrises. The range includes primers & steel protection, crack injection and stitching materials, concrete resurfaces and resin repair mortars.

Flexcrete

Steel Protector 841- Polymer cement coating, Monolite-used for repair and reprofile concrete brick and stone substructures, Monomix standard and HD- DWI approved for use in contact with drinking water. Fastfill-slabs in industrial floors runways, roadways and footpaths and Monolevel- mortar for reprofiling of instiu and precast concrete and brickwork.

Weber

Weber Five Star Grout is used under stanchion plates and machinery. Underpinning, void filling, fixing anchor bolts and grouting bearings.

WEBER products

Tarmac

General purpose construction Grout is a non shrink, high strength cementitious grout. Used for anchor and base plate grouting, under machinery and stanchion plates, grouting rails and bridge bearings, fixing bolts. It can be used in its plastic state as a bedding mortar.

TARMAC products

Construction Chemicals are used in commercial works.

They comprise of a varied range of products for maintenance and repair including mould oil, curing agent, and retarders.

Curing Agent

After pouring concrete the curing agents are used to manage the curing process. Supplied in 25L and 210L.

CURING AGENT products

Mould Oil

Mould Oil is a chemical release agent for mould and shutter surfaces prior to casting concrete, giving a clean release.

Retarders

There are two types of retarders, Top Face is a spray on retarder which is applied to freshly poured concrete to produce an exposed aggregate. Mould Face is a paint on retarder to slow the set of the cement surface content.

RETARDER PRODUCTS

Civil engineering products providing separation, drainage and erosion control used in road rail and bridge projects.
